How to Apply for DSWD Educational Cash Assistance Online Registration
Walk-ins are no longer allowed in order to apply for the DSWD Cash Assistance. There was an influx of crowd during the first day of cash distribution that the government authorities have made changes to make the application an online process. Please follow the steps below for your reference:
Step 1: Fill out a DSWD Educational Assistance Online Registration Form.
Depending on your nearest Field Office, the process may involve you filling out the registration form online and supplying your information. You may also choose to scan a QR code of the application form. You can also send an email to selected DSWD field offices.
One key thing to note here is to stay updated on the latest announcements from your local DSWD field office based on their Facebook Page announcements.
Step 2: Wait for a text message response from DSWD office which will indicate the date and schedule of the appointment.
You cannot go to the DSWD office or location of document submission unless you have a confirmed text message. Again, you cannot walk-in. You have to receive a Text Message before you can go to the site.
Step 3: Submit the document requirements on the day of the appointment.
Make sure to bring all the required documents on the day of your appointment. The DSWD field office will not entertain applicants who do not have complete requirements.
Step 4: DSWD will screen your application and interview you.
After receiving your documents, the DSWD social welfare officers will go over your application.
