The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has established the One Repatriation Command Center (ORCC) to provide rapid assistance to repatriation, welfare, and other needs of distressed Overseas Filipino Workers.
The One Repatriation Center will now be a centralized and one-stop shop for all OFW repatriation and immediate assistance. This is good because it will help speed up the process and ensure that everyone gets the assistance they need.
The center will also be providing counseling services to OFWs who have been repatriated. This is important because it will help them adjust back to life in the Philippines and cope with any trauma they may have experienced abroad.
ORCC – Centralized System for Repatriation and Immediate Assistance to Overseas Filipino Workers
Previously, OFWs would go to different Philippine government agencies in order to seek assistance. This was often a long and complicated process. However, with the ORCC, they will now be able to get the help they need quickly and easily. We encourage all OFWs who are in need of assistance to go to the One Repatriation Center.
“The One Repat-DMW will assist ensure that distressed OFWs are given immediate assistance and are able to return home to their families and loved ones,” according to DMW Secretary Susan “Toots” V. Ople
